Worth knowing
- Access to the car park is via a steep track, and there is no way down to the lower tent camping fields for camper vans, caravans or trailer tents — the track is too steep.
- Tent campers face a steepish walk back up the hill to the facilities, and three of the loos are unisex compost ones.
- The free wifi only reaches the covered information shelter and the camper van area.

Getting there
Access to the car park is via a steep track. It is about 600 metres from the touring site, cottages and glamping in the glade to the Mawddach Trail, with a total ascent of 70m; the cottages, touring van site and two quarry wagons are on the level, with a slight hill up a rough track to the yurts and shepherd's hut. The track and field down to the estuary via the lower tent camping fields is pretty steep in places.
