Camping Bergamini

Peschiera del Garda, Verona, Lake Garda

A family-run, GSTC-certified site on the southern shore of Lake Garda at Peschiera.

Why we love it

The southern end of Garda is the busy end, which makes a small family-run site there worth knowing about. Bergamini is certified under the Global Sustainable Tourism Council criteria — a genuinely independent scheme rather than a self-declared one — and sits on the lake at Peschiera del Garda.

Pitches under trees, water at the bottom of the site, and Verona forty minutes away for the evening you decide against cooking.

Best for: Garda in high summer without a resort attached

Worth knowing

  • The driveway gate closes at 11pm; after that the car has to be parked outside.
  • One car per pitch and one space per accommodation. Second cars park outside, or inside for a fee and only by reservation.
  • Towels are not included in the accommodation and have to be hired, and travelling with a pet makes cleaning compulsory at €20 for up to two nights and €40 beyond that.
