Costa Brava
A small, quiet site on the Costa Brava, built around families rather than nightlife.
Why we love it
The Costa Brava has two reputations and only one of them is deserved — north of Blanes it becomes coves, pines and cliff paths, and the camins de ronda along the shore are among the best coastal walking in the Mediterranean.
Las Palmeras is small and deliberately quiet, with facilities aimed at families. Not the place for a late night, which is the entire point.
Best for: a family fortnight, with cove walks between the beach days
Worth knowing
- Cars may not be used inside the campsite between midnight and 7am, and the speed limit is 5 km/h.
- No pets of any kind are allowed in the bungalows. On a pitch it is two dogs maximum, and breeds classed as potentially dangerous — the operator lists nine — are refused.
- Cancelling costs 50% of what you have paid, and 100% if you cancel within 30 days of the arrival date.

Carretera a la platja s/n, Sant Pere Pescador — a mile from the village and 100 metres from the beach. Figueres station is 11.8 miles by road.

- Sant Pere Pescador beach — 100 metres from the campsite. The operator describes a long sandy beach with shallow water, lifeguards in the summer months, beach bars, and windsurf and kitesurf schools.

- Sant Pere Pescador · 1.3 miles — The operator: a kilometre away, a small and traditionally agricultural village, far from the tourist crowds.
