Inch Hideaway Eco Camping

County Cork, Munster

Five hand-built yurts and a wagon, off-grid, a walk from Inch beach in east Cork.

Why we love it

Five hand-built yurts and a converted wagon, run off-grid, a walk from the beach at Inch — the east Cork one, on the harbour side rather than the Atlantic one in Kerry. Each yurt sits on a raised platform with a wood-burning stove; the shared kitchen has a wood-fired pizza oven and a fire pit, and the whole site sleeps around thirty-two if you take it all.

Open all year, which is rarer than it sounds for canvas.

Best for: canvas, but with a floor and a stove
