Why we love it

Best for: design-obsessed Highland romantics

Worth knowing

  • You cannot book a single night: the choices are a three-night weekend, a four-night midweek stay or a full week.
  • Sky House cannot accommodate children at all, and Hill House takes two adults and two children only from age eight up.
  • A good housekeeping deposit is payable on top of the rate — £250 at Sky House, £350 at Hill House — and there is a £500 fine for a pet or for evidence of smoking.
