Worth knowing

A maximum of four adults in any booking, and that applies whether you book together or separately — the Trust's own rule, to preserve the site's tranquillity.
Two nights minimum, and cars are parked away from the camping fields in the car park rather than beside your tent.
Two dogs per pitch are welcome and one Basic Pod is dog-friendly, but the Standard Pods do not take dogs at all.

Getting there

Great Langdale, Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 9JU. Cars are parked away from the camping fields, in the car park; the Trust points arriving guests at its Guide to Great Langdale Campsite for directions and late arrivals.
